Would you donate towards barcode scanner for iPhone 3G
Options
So the latest update included a barcode scanner - awesome! But I've got an iPhone 3G so I can't use it - :~(
Read something on here that scanners compatible with earlier iPhones were just way too expensive to implement. I dunno how much that would be exactly but I reckon I'd donate a tenner towards the cause if it helped to get me the funky barcode functionality, and if enough of us did, could it become feasible?
Or another alternative could be a paid version of the app - say £0.99 (or whatever that is in USD) - just for iPhone 2 and 3G users with full barcode business.
Thoughts?

I have the iPhone 3GS and my bar code scanner works wonderfully!!! Not sure what's different, I got mine in Feb 2010. Like I said, not really sure what the "S" stands for anyway... kind of a dummy here.0
