Hope everyone is taking care of themselves. Thanksgiving is three weeks away! That can't be right. It's not even cold yet. I have a cousin visiting from Michigan and all she talked about yesterday was that it was too hot to put up Christmas decorations (she's doing my mom's house, she's an interior designer).

Yesterday I did biking, yoga, and weights class. It was a good weights class. Today is biking, walking, and push ups.

Happy workouts!

Mary

Well today is my last 12hr workday for this week! Whoohoo! :drinker: It's taking everything I've got to stay awake at my desk right now. One second I'm typing and then next I'm opening my eyes! I hope no one catches me haha. My challenge for today is going to be eating all my calories. I put in my breakfast, lunch and snacks I have with me and I only have 500 cal. in! So I was thinking about stopping by walmart on my lunch break and picking up one of those premade turkey wraps or something for dinner, because the only time I have to eat is in the car going from job 1 to job 2, since I don't like eating dinner at 10pm. So that's today. I can't wait to work 1 job tomorrow...I think I'm gonna take an after work nap!!!

Hey everyone. Yesterday, I met all my goals and even did an extra small workout while watching TV last night because I ate some Halloween candy.

This morning, I crawled out of bed early to get shredding over and done with. Yoga class at noon. I've already drank 1/2 my water for the day too!! :drinker:

Anybody want a kid for the rest of the week? He behaves really well for strangers.
I have a sore throat. I just hope and pray it doesn't turn into anything. Alex is feeling better but he now has scarlett fever all over his face, neck, arms, back and tummy. He got mad when I made him feed himself this morning and it's been non stop creaming since then. I want to go back to bed and start all over.
There's also a rat (most likely) trapped behind our new siding. Guess it's probably going to stink here after awhile.
I don't know what I am going to do today. Right now I feel like burning calories by throwing things. But I will probably clean and maybe shred if I feel up to bouncing around. Sorry, I'm a downer this morning.
I hope your day is going better than mine.

Sorry you're having a bad day, MM!
V, congrats on your presentation going so well. I used to think I would make a good editor but I don't really have any official experience. How did your union meeting go???

I am feeling kinda out of it this week. I went to aerobics last night but found myself feeling more tired than usual. On the other hand, my heart rate monitor said I burned 100 more calories than usual, too! Mexican food with friends is on the agenda tonight, so I am going to get a walk in after lunch and then just try limit my portions. I still need to figure out what we're doing with our health plans.

Hope you all have a great day!

The union meeting (which lasted for 8 HOURS!) did not go well. I feel that the "executives" were ready to strike when we walked into the room. So, my cardio/exercise today consisted of walking and carrying a sign for five hours. I hate it. The union has not done a very good job of expressing what we're fighting for (essentially, my university is trying to take away rights we already have) so the students think we're "a bunch of whiners" as the administration is presenting us badly. So, my hands are pretty tied, as I need the strike compensation to earn a living. So, I have to walk in a protest I agree with about 75%, but not 100%. What a gross situation all around.

Blurgh. I'm trying to stay positive that it won't last long and that everyone will be reasonable and open to compromise. I'm sunburned and my knees hurt. Waaaah!

Hope your days were good, and you take care of yourselves.:flowerforyou:
