WHEN do you eat your meals?

For me, I always have a hard time making an eating schedule. I try to listen to my body but then I feel like it's never consistent and I end up eating at really awkward and weird times. Is this ok? So WHEN do yall eat? I'm not looking for "every three hours" but like actually times. 7:00 AM - breakfast--for example.
Do most of yall have set times when you eat or do you listen to your body?

I eat breakfast between 8-9am, lunch between 12-1pm and dinner I try not to eat later then 630pm... little snacks in between if i get hungry and plenty of water... good luck0

Unless I have a work schedule that dictates eating times, I eat when I want to. No schedule. When I need to eat, I REALLY need to eat, otherwise I get incredibly grumpy, so this is what works for me. I'm a snacker, so I eat frequently in small amounts. The 'Breakfast', 'Lunch', 'Dinner' categories are really just formalities, I'm afraid.0

i have very set times, mostly because i eat most of my food at work. Breakfast is at 6 am, second breakfast (yes, i'm a hobbit lol) is at 9 am, lunch is at noon, 4th meal is at 2:45 and dinner is usually around 6:30 depending on how long i spent in the gym. I eat every 3 hours during the day, consume over 400 cals for breakfast, then taper down to dinner which is about 250 cals. i'm never hungry and i dont ever want to snack cause i know i have to eat soon. lol works for me. i like schedules. on the weekends though, i only eat when i feel like it. usually that means i don't eat enough.0

I usually plan my day the day before or the morning of and I eat when I'm hungry. I just stick with my plan for the day.0

I am a really variable eater - but do not like mornings - so: Cuppa Tea at 8am, Brekkie about 10.30 - cereal or toast. Then Lunch about 2pm - Fried rice or BBQ Chicken thigh and salad. Then about 5pm Mixed nuts or fruit and Evening meal around 8pm of whatever partner cooks!0

I do breakfast about 9:30-10; lunch about 1-2; and dinner about 7. Try and throw a mid afternoon snack in there. It works for me and my crazy life. However - if I'm hungry I eat and if I'm not I eat very light!0

I eat at awkward and weird times. Hunger > schedules. But I'm not a very scheduled person in any regard :P0

This is very bad, but I have not had an actual breakfast in 2 months! Sure, I eat at 9am, but it's usually a sandwich or something. But, since I'm changing my ways!!...I'm starting to eat better and at better times...below is my schedule, just something to go by, doesnt have to be exact, Never eat after 6:30 pm though, our bodies start slowing down around this time.
**SOME HEALTHY TIPS!**
AVOID PROCESSED FOODS ! (chips, frozen foods, fast food, bread, crackers that are NOT whole wheat, etc)
AVOID FOODS HIGH IN FAT AND SUGAR
AVOID SODAS- if you crave something fizzy, add alkaseltzer to your water. If you crave something fruity, use crystal light.
PROTEIN IS A PLUS
EXERCISE IS A MUST! try to exercise in the morning and between meals-I am going to try to do 30 minute workouts 3 times a day to start out!
ALWAYS CHOOSE HIGH PROTEIN AND LOW FAT FOODS
EAT PLENTY OF VEGETABLES (MAKE YOUR PLATE COLORFUL)

Good Luck! I hope this kinda helps, I never had anyone to answer my questions, so I had to figure it out on my own, and I want to help anyone else interested in a healthy lifestyle, yet confused by all the media out there about different diets. Stick to the basics, eat natural food, and exercise. And you will be healthy!0 -

They are right, it's best not to eat on a schedule. Because if you do, it can cause overeating. But, it is best to try to eat at least 3 small healthy meals a day. And if not snacks, drink a lot of water. Never eat when you are not hungry..Like I said in my response, my DAILY SCHEDULE is just an outline. If you eat the right portions and exercise everyday, you will most likely get hungry.0 -
Breakfast -5:00 AM
Snack 1 - 8:30 AM
Lunch - 11:00 am
Snack 2 - 2:30 PM
Dinner - 6:00 PM
Snack 3 (usually pre work out) - 7:30
Snack 4 - 9:30 or 10
I eat alot :-)
For clarification purposes - snacks are usually 30 grams of protein in the form of eggs, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, protein powder, tuna, or chicken. All my meals, including snacks, average 350 - 400 calories a piece, except dinner which is 600 - 800, and my pre work out snack is usually just 100 calories. I eat even when I'm not hungry all the time to top off the tank as it were. This plan works for me, your mileage will vary. Find what works for you and keep at it :-)0 -

Nobody said breakfast had to be "real" breakfast food. I don't think cereal is any good for breakfast, most of it is chockful of sugar, it's all full of chemicals. The reason companies push cereal so much is because as a food group it's one of the cheapest things for them to make. They make a tremendous amount of profit off cereal. As long as you're getting a good mix of carbs, proteins and healthy fat, you can have whatever you want for breakfast. Your sandwhich is way better for you than the expected breakfast, any time.0 -
I have breakfast around 8:30-9:30, lunch around 12:30 - 1:00 then dinner any time between 6:15 and 8:00pm. This is on a week day, weekends don't usually have a schedule, i use to barely eat at weekends but trying to change that!0

I usually have breakfast about 9 or 10 and then try to eat every 2-3 hours after this but it doesn't always go to plan, as some days I'm hungrier than others. Usually though it'll be about 10 for breakfast, 12:30-1 for lunch, then a snack at 3-ish and then my dinner is never at the same time, I've had it as early as 5 and as late as 7:30, just depends how hungry I am tbh.0

That's true, thank you! Now, I don't feel so confused lol0 -

Same here... However, I do find that I get hungry around the same times everyday, but nothing is set in stone. I have everything I need to eat on hand at work, and I just eat when I'm hungry.0 -
