How long does it take you mind to catch up with you body after major weight loss? I'm being very serious. I am really thinking that I cannot see myself. Will I always see myself as overweight?

IDK how to answer you question sweety because I've struggled with body image issues myself. I wanted to say I read your blog and I think you are truly an inspiration! You have come such a long way; look at your self in the mirror and say thank you to you! You are a warrior and should be very proud! :flowerforyou:0

It can take years...I lost 125 lbs 5 years ago, and I am just now really starting to see myself the size that I truly am. Before that I was overweight/obese since I was a young child--that may also play into the persistant body image distortion issues. For the longest time, I could walk past mirrors and not even recognize myself.0
