I bought some weight watchers body analyzer ones and they are awful. They said I put half a stone on in one minute and lost 4 pounds another 10 minutes later. Then they kept saying 'error'. I paid £25 last week for these scales as I wanted some that show 1/4 and 1/2 lbs!

I am taking the scales back today and swapping them for some different ones. I want some that show 1/2 pounds etc as my other ones round to the nearest pound.

Thanks

  • I've got two sets of Salter digital scales (in two different houses) and both have been amazingly accurate. They show stones, pounds and ounces, or kilos, or pounds and ounces. One you program with your age, height gender etc and it estimates your bodyfat and water percentages.

Sounds like you like digital, but I love my Detecto balance beam scales. No bells and whistles - just accurate weight every time.

Can't go wrong with Salter. I've had 2 digital scales from them, the first developed a problem because they got too wet but they come with a guarantee so I got them replaced straight away.

I use them and track using MFP and my Wii Fit balance board to get a more accurate feel for weight loss, then pop it all in a lovely excel spreadsheet tracking my progress :)

I use the Weightwatchers ones and they seem fine to me - are you sure you had it on a flat surface? Maybe its just that one is faulty.
