Quick Question... I'm finishing up Stage 1 this coming week and then it's onto Stage 2 and I've really loved it. It was just the change up in my weight routine that I needed and I feel a lot stronger already (I want to start P90X this fall). I'm just wondering though... did anyone else's scale stall out at all during this program?

I just envision my body exchanging fat for muscle, because while my weight on the scale is staying the same I feel like I look a lot leaner and my muscles are more defined. It is really changing the shape of my stomach like nothing has before!! So I guess this tells me I should really be focusing on pictures after each phase, taking measurements, my calipers, and going by how my clothes fit... not the scale! Anyone else in this same boat? Any tips for me?

Not to be dim, but what program are you talking about? And hey, I'm starting P90X August 25th (my birthday)! I did ChaLEAN Extreme and saw a weight loss of about 15 lbs. and some muscle gains. Not as extreme as I hoped for, but my hubby says I look great. Food choices have NOT been great as of late, either.

leslie...i've had lots of weeks without much movement on the scale but as you can see from the weight loss and inches (total 23) and 15% fat loss (according to the caliber)...CLX works...maybe not as much as we would wish but it works. ESP, since I was very bad about eating right!!!

Plus, you are right about the muscle def. (and unfortunate muscle weighs more than fat  --I have a hard time dealing with that fact!)

I am going on the Insanity with the weight lifting part of CLX on M, W, F. Bev

Hey girls, I'm a CLX graduate. :D (21lbs lost, 20" lost, 10% body fat lost) I completed the program and have done the Lean for Life too, but just needed to mix it up. It made me crazy for lifting heavy!!

So I'm currently doing the New Rules of Lifting for Women program (it's a book, got it on Amazon), which is what I'm currently doing for strength training. I just needed some more hardcore strength to really up my muscle gains. Loving it, but not really see a whole lot of movement on the scale. I'm thinking that has to do more w/ how heavy I'm lifting???

I'm doing TurboFire & Brazil Butt Lift for my cardio. Occasionally some sprints & plyo too. And usually yoga 1x per week.
  • This is kind of off topic, but I've done about 6 workout A's, and I have the hardest time with that damn prone jack knife on the ball. I can barely get on/stay on the evil thing. Does it ever get easier?

I am finishing up Stage 2 this week, I started the program in May with one of my friends.

I did not start noticing changes in my body until after Stage 1. So far I have lost 7 pounds and a few inches around my waist, my clothes are definitely getting looser, and pushups are getting easier.

Yes, the prone jacknife does get easier!
