I'm really excited to join such a huge group of people working toward changing their lifestyle and living healthier lives.

My ultimate goal is to be able to log my information daily and slowly change my habits. I have found that I am embarassed/ashamed when I have to log my entry of junk food and that feeling alone makes me turn away from that type of food. Although I don't refuse it as often as I'd like and so I am hoping to conquer it sooner rather than later!

I look forward to reading blogs and keeping up. If anyone is in the Orlando area, I would love to train for a 5K (baby steps) it would be nice to make a team.

Blessings to all.

Welcome! I started using the food log to plan my meals in advance rather than logging as I eat (although I'll change it if I decide to eat something different or spontaneously eat a cookie!). That has really helped me stay away from the junk food.

Congrats on taking this step! I am pretty new myself but this is an awesome tool for keeping yourself accountable and getting motivation from others. Welcome, welcome!

    Hello,
Welcome and good luck to you on this wonderful journey, :flowerforyou:
You will find this site very helpful, tracking your food and
exercise really does keep you accountable, and the support
    and motivation is the greatest!

Try to always keep your end goal in mind when tempted to eat something
that you don't want to eat, but no foods should be our enemies, use those
foods that make you the happiest as rewards on this journey, meaning
that it's ok to have that stuff in moderation, every once in a while. If we
deprive ourselves, I think we'd be setting ourselves up to fail!

Please feel free to add me if you'd like, always happy to lend support and
    motivation to new friends!
  • Kelly you have done so well. Congratulations.
