I suppose I'm all in. My name is Maria and I'm the 42 year old wife to lildrmr93. He started this a few weeks ago and since I can see he is serious, I'm all for it. He finally eats vegetables!!! LOL. We are both working to get healthy for our kids and each other. It's our 12th anniversary today.

Looking for positive people who can input good motivation and honesty to friend me.

A bit about me before we get into the negative comments about exercise and my log...I have severe degenerative joint disease in my ankle and some days it is difficult to just stand...much less exercise. On the good days, I will abuse the crud out of my ankle. Ibuprofen is my friend in these situations. So, be gentle on the exercise jabs....unless you have great LOW/NO impact on the ankle exercise suggestions for me.

    Welcome! Focus on your diet and watch your calories really closely if you have trouble exercising a lot. That will help. Also boxing in a sitting position can help you do cardio if you can't stand. Good luck and great success!

    First off... I love your user name. Second -- CONGRATS TO YOU & LILDRMR93! It's so nice to see marriages lasting over 2 years :) Gives me hope that I may not be an ex-wife in my lifetime... lol.

    ^ this. I've done it many times, esp when I know I have to be at a computer for a long period of time (work, school, etc).

    I love this couples doing this together! My husband and I are doing this together as well. I started off being serious in february, my hubby slowly started a couple of months ago. Im the motivater, have to keep him in line when it comes to food lol. Especially when it come to eating out. My husband deffently goes for bad food. He's lost 20 lbs! Im proud of him. He's kept the weight off he still has 20 lbs to go. Don't worry im not too hard on him. He will lose more when he's ready. Me I measure and count eveything. The most important thing is that we do this together!
