Hi all, I just discovered something regarding the servings per container on a tuna can which I won't mention the brand but you can figure it out I suppose if you check. I was making my lunch and for the heck of it I weighed the tuna after it was drained of water. The total came to 2 oz. per can after being drained. The can says it has about 2 servings so that would make it about 4 oz. So really there is only one 2 oz. serving per can meaning I have been adding 50 extra calories to my diary when I eat tuna. Just thought I'd mention it.

Huh, that is interesting. I also noticed on different varieties, some say 2.5 servings and others say "about 2". Same size can, of course.

I believe they consider the liquid part of the measurement, sucks but I think that's how they do ti!

I got the same brand as I've always been buying and noticed the nutrition info had changed drastically and then noticed the oz. had changed on the can.

Amazing how most all Tuna in cans used to be 6 oz. and now I see some at 4 oz. and less. Really gotta keep an eye out for label changes and size of item changes. Bread can be less in a pkg., smaller slices and that will change up the entire label. I simply edit them when needed and put "New Labeling" on the description.

That way others know what's the latest.:flowerforyou:
