Cilantro Peppered Salad
Options
Here's a little something different if you feel like salad's getting too bland.
Chop up a head of Romaine lettuce or buy a couple of bags of pre-cut Romaine, your choice. Snip in a few sprigs of fresh cilantro (I just got a bundle for 25 cents at the store across the street). Toss well and drain. Dress with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, a splash of red wine vinegar, and a few grinds of peppercorn before serving. A little onion, cucumber, and maybe Roma tomato chopped fine might be nice as well. Personally, I think it's fantastic just keeping it simple.
