I hate pictures of me. I'm so judgmental of myself that I pick them apart so I avoid them like the plague. But I've made myself the last few months. My next stop is making myself post them here. It's a small change but I need all of the encouragement I can give myself.

The top are from June the bottom are from today. I'm slowly starting to see my abs again. Yippeeee. And I can finally start to see my tat again.

And yes my mirror is dirty in the 1st one because I had never planned on letting them see the light of day.

Forgot to add that I started in February and lost 30 pounds before joining MFP. I did not take pictures at that time. I haven't seen the scale budge much recently but at least I'm noticing a difference somewhere.

I think just about everyone feels a little shy posting progress pics, and it's fairly normal to be harsher with ourselves than we would be with anyone else. You look great!! Use your pics for motivation.. but try not to criticize too much.. it's all history tomorrow.

I like that you said you feel the difference - but you can see it too. Great job

    Random painful memory...
I had a boyfriend years ago, and when I fit started exercising he said "You look better. Before I could see your tattoo because your belly got bigger." He was like 75 pound overweight and I had gained 10 pounds. Jerk!
