I am new to Myfitnesspal, and i have alot of weight to get rid of.... hopefully this will be a good place to get support. I am a nurse, and older. I am settled in my life except for this weight. It is causing me a lot of health problems. I want to get rid of about 40 lbs to start. My first goal is 10. I have started on Shaklee protein shakes, and exercise 3 days a week. I am brand new, so help me! i have lost 4 lbs so far....

Hello,
I've had this app for awhile now and everytime I use it, it works (when I use it). I became friends with my boyfriend and my skinny friends and got discouraged. I need to weight in, but I guesstimate I'm between 170-180. This is recent weight I gained from my last graduate program. I am beginning my PhD program and teaching assignment in the fall and I'd like to be comfortable and healthy once again. My goal weight is 135. Please add me if you'd like. I promise to stay logged in even if I go off track.0
