My eating plan is simple, I eat a mostly vegetarian diet but will eat meat occasionally if I feel like I need the protein. I go for low cal items. And right now I'm doing the couch to 5k program along with workouts from bodyrock.tv0

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venutto. (www.burnthefat). also i do cardio every day, i lift weights on mon, wed, and fri, and i do bootcamp style classes on tues and thursday.
It's hard work and it required focus but i've lost 53 lbs in 4 months and i feel awesome so it's definitely worth it. and if you're wondering, when i started i weighted almost 300 lbs and i still managed to workout 7 days a week. not as long as i can now, and not as heavy, but the human body is amazing and adapts to anything.
I don't eat processed food, no white flour, sugar, white rice or reg. potatoes. I eat 5 times a day, i taper my calories from breakfast which is my highest calorie count (over 400) to dinner which is my lowest count (250) I have never felt better.0 -
I have found out that exercise plays a big roll. Its not just what you eat but ya got to get up and move!!! so i do about 45 mins of bike riding everyday (if at all possible) and if i do eat something i shouldnt have or eat more i just ride more....0

My plan is for both me and my husband. We do the suggested calories from MFP, trying to put as many veggies we can. Try to balance out our nutrient needs between us. Try to teach my husband to actually eat meals instead of one big meal a day. Learn to cook a bit and basically try to eat most our of nutrients. But we are taking some vitamins. We do this for a month, then we start our exercise program. For a month, we just walk for 15-30 minutes Monday thru Friday. Next month, for three days add cardio, (going to get an exercise bike) and walk the rest. Next month add strength training, instead of walking. The reason for the slow and steady thing is we are changing alot in our life(job, going to school, having a teenager live with us), so I want to give each step time. Give myself a month to get use to it and then make adjustments after seeing how it fits into my life. Gradually increasing the intensity and strength or changing the time and dates. Not sure if this will help with you, but it how we are handling this. :ohwell:0
