Today my family did a high ropes challenge course for my dad's 50th birthday. We climbed about 30 or 40 feet into the treetops and did a series of bridges from one to another in both rope and wood. I've been working out seriously for about 4 weeks now and when I got up there, not only did i manage to keep up with the rest of my family, but I was also able to make it through an optional portion of the course that was more difficult. I needed help at the end of that difficult portion but I did it and I didn't give up. I learned a lot about my family and myself. Even though it was hot as hell outside and difficult as all get out, I had a lot of fun getting out and getting physical!
