I saw my sister yesterday for the first time since before I started MFP. I was around 165 the last time I saw her in May, and now I'm 146, so I've lost almost 20 lbs. She said I was looking amazing! That is a HUGE compliment from my sister because she usually doesn't give compliments like that to me. I told her that I still wanted to lose at least 20 more lbs and she said "What, why? What do you weigh now?" and I told her 146. She was like "WOW you look so much smaller than that! I thought you were like 130!". That really felt amazing to hear from her, because we aren't the closest sisters and have been in competition with each other for most of our lives, so to hear something like that from her really means a lot.

That's awesome! It's always an NSV around my sister 'cause she's always been smaller than me but the last couple times she's been wearing an 8 and my 10s are getting loose so.... it's nice to know I'm catching up. Happy for you!

That is so great that your sister is being so supportive. I have to say you look really thin in your picture. I'm close to what you weigh and I don't look as good as you do.
Congrats on the 20lbs lost by the way!

Haha thanks but it's not a current photo. :blushing: It's like 5 years old, but it's the smallest I've ever been but I keep it there as a reminder about what I want to look like again.

She is about 3 inches taller than me (around 5'7), but slimmer. She weighs around 125-130 lbs.

It shouldn't matter, but I get more satisfaction from smaller people telling me I've lost weight.
