Is this realistic? I feel like it is, but not sure... Could I get your input, please?

So this is my plan...
Starting Weight: 186 07-20-2011
1st Goal Weight: 181 08-01
2ndGW: 176 09-01
3rdGW: 171 10-01
4thGW: 166 11-01
5thGW: 161 12-01
6thGW: 156 01-01-2012
7thGW: 151 02-01
8thGW: 146 03-01
9thGW: 141 02-01
10thGW: 136 03-01
11thGW: 131 04-01
Final Weight: 125 07-01

THIS IS HOW I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT… WEIGH ONLY ON THE DATES LISTED ABOVE!!!

    absolutely..Good luck I find it very hard not to get on the scale more than once a week
  • It sounds very reasonable. Depending on what you plan to do, you might find that you lose faster at first and then taper off/slow down. If you're going to stay off the scale, I'm sure that will help.

    Although it sounds reasonable, don't forget that the closer you get to your ideal body weight (what your body thinks - not you), the pounds will come off super slow.

    Go for it, but don't attach success to the scale!

    I plan to weigh only once per month. I find that if I weigh weekly, I get frustrated. I'm trying not to focus on the number so much that I forget how good I feel.

    I think thats a GREAT Idea!!!! and totally reasonable!! I'm totally going to make a monthly goal for myself!!! Thanks for the post!

    Sounds like a good plan to me. I think experts suggest that people lose 1 to 1 1/2lbs a week. Good luck to you!
