Even if you're not a RSimmons fan this is a pretty good article someone shared on a list I belong to. He often comes up with the most motivational ideas to move forward when stuck or help a person reframe. Enjoy

Failure -Richard Simmons
It's the worse fear of every school kid in America. And that is bringing
home a report card with the dreaded "F" on it! I only got one "F" when I
was in school. But I was clever enough to use a pen to turn it into a "B."
"F" stands for failure. And let's face it, failure is such an empty and sad
word. It's as if you'd wasted a whole school year because you got that big
"F" in one of your subjects. Like I said, I only got one of them during my
school years and it was in math. And if I had to take those tests all over
again these days, I'd probably fail again. too! LOL.
"F" stands for failure. And let's face it, failure is such an empty and sad
word.
Gosh, we can't be good at everything, can we? But feeling like a failure is
just such a bad feeling. I remember when I was a kid, I heard some grownups
talking badly about someone else: "Look at him. He just floats from one
job to another and can never hold one down. He's such a failure!"
Many of you think you're failures because you haven't stayed on program and
reached your healthy goal weights. I get E-mails that start out like this:
"Richard, I'm just such a failure. I started out good, was doing so well
and then I just sort of backslid and have not been able to get back on
track."
When I receive an E-mail like that, I call and talk to the person who wrote
it. I remind them that they are not a failure. It's more like they became
a quitter. There is a big difference, the way I see it. They just took
the program they were doing so well on and...gradually walk away from it.
And they do that even though they were doing so well and seeing good
results! They weren't failing...they quit!
Something just made them decide that they were not going to try anymore. So
they stop measuring their foods. They begin eating out more often. They
begin skipping their trips to the gym. Or they put away those DVDs of mine
they had been working out so hard to. And they simply go off on their
unhealthy ways! Has this ever happened with you?
Well, your job is to find out why you quit when you were smack dab in the
middle of success. What happened to change your mood and determination?
Was it something someone said to you at home or at work? What was it that
took you so completely off track?
I know of some people who were going strong and then quit trying for a year
or more. Those are the people who're not questioning why they quit trying.
And in that year or more of not doing anything to get back on the right
track, much of the weight they'd worked so hard to lose comes creeping right
back. And that's why they tend to call themselves "failures."
So what do you think about yourself? I'm telling you, don't give yourself
the "F" grade. Instead, recognize the fact that you may be a habitual
quitter. And only you can figure out why you quit. And I think I know one
reason why you quit all the time. Sadly, it's because so many of you still
believe that you are not worth it.
You're still carrying baggage around from the past that makes you feel
insecure about your future. Well, let me tell you something. I believe that
all of you reading this message today are so worth the joy of living a long
and healthy life.
One last thing I have to tell you. Every night before I go to bed, I say my
prayers and I always ask God to give you all an "A" as he helps you find and
achieve what you want in your lives.
