For anyone who thinks this may give you some extra motivation.
Here are the rules that I am proposing. From now until December for every kilogram/pound (depending on what you use).
Nominate an amount of money per kilo or pound
Choose a charity
In December donate that amount of money to your chosen Charity/Alternativley choose two charities and make one donation in October and one in December
You could also get family members or friends to sponsor you if you prefer.

I am going to go with $2 per kilo gram and will donating the money to Princess Margaret childrens hospital in Perth. However you can choose a charity of your choice. Basically you donate a nominated amount of money per kilo or pound to charity of your choice, or if you prefer you can get friends and family members to sponser you. Essentially the more weight you loose the more money your charity gets. The donations will be on an honor basis. Because every year in October a telethon is run to raise money for Princess Margaret Hospital I will also be making a donation then with weight loss to date. In December I will make a donation to SAFE (animal charity), with the rest of my weight loss.

Anyone who wants to join me is welecome to., you can do it openly my either commenting on this thread or sening me a friend request. If you prefer to complete this challenge privately you can do that to.

    I'll be up for that!
However I think I'll get my friends/family to sponsor me (poor uni student living off centerlink)
I think mine will be to surf life saving australia... not sure what my second charity will be, also depends on how much people are willing to sponsor me per kilo. maybe i'll get them to choose the charity they want instead?
    thanks for the wonderful idea!
