I stand among those who really admired and respected the man. Heaven knows there are far too precious few positive role models anymore and imho, he was one of the precious few. Of course, seeing that he was also an ordained minister and a psychologist, I admit that maybe my viewpoint is a wee bit skewed

I grew up with Mr. Rogers. He was practically my only "friend"....he will always have a special place in my heart...and by the way Songbyrd. He died several years ago so he doesn't live alone...I never have understood why people get freaked out by puppets (maybe it's my weirdness that I don.t)...besides the trolley was cool.
