Wanted to come in and introduce myself....My name is Dawn & I have lost 130lbs so far thru my own devices & Weight Watchers...From going from 300+ lbs to now being a *Fitness Instructor* at my local YMCA, its an impressive task and sometimes unbelievable. Never in my life did I think I could change the life of someone who is in the shoes I used to be in,.
I lost my mother 7 yrs ago to obesity and 3 yrs ago, I just woke up and said, WHAT THE HE** AM I DOIN?? I'M GONNA DIE IF I DONT CHANGE THIS!!! So, all within a few months, I lost my mom, found out I have emphysema, and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Quit smoking right then and there...Went thru depression pretty hard core, started taking shot for my MS just to keep it at a stand still...when I decided to take my life in my own hands and do something about my health, I stopped taking my shot and let the ball fall where it does. Have have flair ups at times, but nothing I cant handle...I can still walk, see, breath, wipe my own butt  so I dont feel like I need to rely on a medicine @ this point. If I keep my body strong and my weight under control, I think I can live a good life with little disruption.
I wanted to try something different and try actual calorie counting and see what that does for me. If it works, great, if not, no biggie...I am VERY happy with where I am in my body. I have enough muscle weight that i can eat what I want within reason and still maintain my weight within a 5lb range...Now I just have all the skin and that wont go away with out a knife...not sure about that one yet.
Anyway, there's an incite about me...I look forward to reading other peoples accomplishments and over coming their battles.

very inspiring story... Have you heard of the It Works wraps? I've heard they work to tighten the skin and remove that top layer of fat that is soo hard to remove unless it's surgury Look it up... It works global, their facebook page has a lot of before and after pictures, I'm actually going to try them, but haven't yet, will be this week tho! Some of the results are really amazing. Just thought I'd mention it, could be something to think about and if it works, then no more surgery thoughts Great job on your loss!0

You SOOOOOOOOOOO can do this!!! We all *Got your back on this*... We all have been there and know how hard it is..This is not something that changes over night...You have to have the heart and soul into it...It isnt a diet, its a change in your lifestyle..Still enjoy the things you like, just keep it to a limit... I have faith in you that you will reach your goals!!!0
