Just thought I would share this really valuable nutrition tool with you all. I did a search and found the USDA's national nutrient database and it has virtually every food you can think of, right down to a complete breakdown of nutrient content (vitamins, minerals, EVERYTHING!). I'm a bit anal about being precise when I'm counting calories and about making sure I get all the nutrients (not just calories) I need so I stay healthy and continue to lose weight in a healthy manner. If you're like that at all, you're gonna LOVE this database. I will warn you, the data it gives you--while in a chart format very similar to a nutrition label--is pretty detailed, but most of the important information will be at the top. I highly recommend using this for things like ground beef and other foods that don't come standard with nutrition information on the label.
