So my problem is my sports bras no longer fit me. I need to buy new ones but I don't want to spend $50 a piece on them. I am a 34C but I am a small frame so I need one that goes by my bra size no just the generic small, medium or large. I also run so they need to be high impact. NO BOUNCE!!!! LOL Any suggestions? P.S. I don't really have time to go to a sports store to be fitted plus they are expensive.

34C is a totally normal size. You shouldn't have any problems getting sports bras from anywhere in the right size. If you're British then I'd recommend just going to M&S. They do a bunch of sports bras that are high impact (so suitable for running) and start from around £16. If you're in the US, Walmart should do something similar.

Generally speaking, it's only a problem to get a good sports bra at DD+. If you have a small frame you may in fact be less than a 34 back. You absolutely don't need to get fitted. It's very simple to do at home with a measuring tape. It's total bollocks to say that you need to add a bunch of inches to a bra measurement. That was only necessary with bras before around 1970 because they were not stretchy. Nowadays they are. So all you do is measure underneath your boobs and take that measurement (I'm 33 so I can wear a 32 or a 34 depending on the style of the bra) and then measure round your boobs (making sure you don't pull the tape tight at all). If you are a 34 back, you should be 37 inches around the boobs if you are a 34C. Same size = AA, one inch bigger = A, two inches = B etc.

if you don't want to spend $$ but want one that fits to your particular frame, you are out of luck. you need to sacrifice one or the other.

I got a really nice one at Walmart. No bounce and it was tagged as a 34C and the cups are sturdy/thick so that people can't see when my nipples get hard. Haha, That sounds weird after re-reading that but I hate the ones that do that. Plus, I'm not sure of how good the one is by where you live but a couple by me were having really good sales on their exercise clothes too.

Walmart has some decent ones that are for high impact! Just hit the fitting room and fit one that works for you!

I was gonna say Walmart also... they have a wide variety (better than they've ever had in the past) and you should be able to find some that fit you for fairly inexpensive prices!!

Sports Authority has some very good sports bras that are in normal bra sizes. I really like the Champion Powerback underwire and they are on sale for $34.99 at least once a month at Sports Authority. It's a real sports bra, not a compression-type that gives you a uniboob and still has you bouncing all over the place. Black, white and nude.

I'm a C cup and Moving Comfort works well for me. The fiona. You can get them on Amazon for like $25 and usually free shipping there frequently. At the sports store, it's $48.

I've found decent ones at Marshalls and Target. Champion was the Target brand, and I think Avia was at Marshalls.

I am not a very well-endowed chick (B cup), sadly, so this probably doesn't apply if you are so blessed. I usually wear a normal underwire t-shirt type bra under my sports bra, too.

Ah-ha - then you should be wearing a 28E or a 30DD in my opinion. PLEASE trust me on this. I have always had big boobs (was a 36F now a 32DD) and been wrongly fitted for years until I went to Rigby & Peller and Bravissimo. It changed my life. I made my mum, all my sisters and all my bigger-busted friends go. It makes you suddenly realise that bras are supposed to be comfortable and supportive, stops your back hurting (if it does) and makes you look as if you lost about a 20lbs overnight! Just humour me, go find some (or order online - again, I'm not so sure about American websites but there are a ton of British ones that do bigger size bras and M&S do 28 and 30 back sizes so it's likely that Walmart will as well) and just try on a 28E/30DD. You'll love me forever - I swear!
