I go to a Jazzercise studio each 60 min segment has cardio, strength training, and stretching. It's a combo of dance, pilates, weight lifting, and kick boxing. burns around 600 cals per workout! and it's SO FUN! I don't feel like I'm working out. It feels like having fun for an hour!0

I kind of just wing it, I usually do the wii fit plus and do certain ones mainly in the aerobics section but I switch it up depending on what I do, like today I was swimming for like 3 hour lol needless to say no wii fit plus for me today. Just go with whatever you want with what works for you as long as you are working out I don't think it matters.0

I make mine as random as possible. one day I walk 3-5 miles. the next I bike about 10-12 miles, today, I did turbo jam for 20 min, then rode my bike for about 40 min. tomorrow. I'm either going to do Tae Bo and bike, or 30 Day Shred, and walk. One day this week. I might throw in swimming, just to be even more random.0

Mine are all pre-determined. I feel like if I have to figure out which exercises to do, and how many reps, and what order to do them in and blah blah blah that I get overwhelmed. I subscribe to a lot of fitness feeds, so it's not like I'm totally clueless, but I'd rather have something that takes the guesswork out for me. I love Wii EA Activ's 30-Day Challenges because they have a variety of exercises that are different every day, and they all include strength and cardio. I don't have to worry about what to do. I do running programs like C25K in addition to those workouts. I've finished C25K a few times, but I just restart when I'm done. I'll start C210K when I'm done this time, then I'll start training for a half-marathon, but again... It's all pre-determined. I'm so not good at developing work out plans on my own.0

I do the 30 Day Shred every day, but other than that I just wing it. Some days I get to walk/jog with my puppy, but because it rains so much I just stick to cleaning the house (which burns more calories than you think!) or dancing around while listening to my iPod.0

I have a personal trainer. I see him once every 7-10 days. He writes up a strength training plan for me and we do it together once. Then, I repeat it myself, so I know what I will do.
I am also training for a marathon, so my running schedule is pretty set as well.
I throw in some spinning classes and time on the elliptical for cross-training.0 -
I mostly just wing it. I know what runs I need to get in for the week, so I'll usually do the specific run I need judging on how I feel that day, and on the off-days, I work resistance bands, plyometrics and yoga. For the most part, I have an idea for the week of what I'm going to do, and then I just pick the workout I feel most able to do that day.
I've found when I schedule myself too rigidly, I get into funks where I get disappointed when I don't hit the workout I had planned, because I just don't feel it that particular day. So I let things kind of work themselves out as I feel it, and I'm pretty happy with it, since I haven't missed or felt hugely disappointed with a workout with that mentality.0 -
If I'm doing strength training its prearranged. I find I doing better writing everything down. Also I need to remember weights used. If I have a cardio day I wing it!0

I'm a need-to-know person so I'm planned all the way!!!
I get my programme changed up every few months but I stick with the same programme each day. I find that it takes times anyway for my body to get used to hte programme. I do spin and walk also on other exercise days so I do a good mix of things.
Works for me.0 -
I do 2 days in gym, 1 day off, repeat. I keep a log of my weight lifting so I can see where I've been and my progress (I use JEFIT for Android). On the other hand, my cardio is hit and miss... sometimes I do it when I wake up, sometimes after my workout. Sometimes I skip a day and do it on my "off" day.0

Boredom is my worst enemy when it comes to workout. I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to DVDs so I really mix it up a lot. Lately, it's been a lot of Zumba and when I get too sore from that I do a day of walking. I'm very much looking forward to joining a gym when I'm no longer unemployed.0
