I'm going to classifiy this as a nonscale victory. My normal weigh in is Thursday. Every Thursday since March, I've woken up, gone to the bathroom and then weighed myself. I recorded the new weight into whatever program I was using (I used something other then MFP when I started). I woud also constantly weigh myself thru out the week. I never got uset or crazy about the midweek weigh ins, I know how much the scale can change depending on things like water etc .... A few weeks ago I started keeping track of my measurements, body fat % and muscle mass % (thank you kick *kitten* scale from Bed Bath and Beyond!)

Anyway, this past Thursday I got up, went to the bathroom, made myself a cup of coffee and sat down at the computer. It wasn't until I was half way thru the first cup that I realized it, I had not weight myself that morning. For months I have looked forward to Thursday so I could weigh myself and see the hard facts of my hard work that week.

It's a victory for me because it shows I'm not obsessed with the numbers anymore. I can actually see and feel the difference without that scale! I think i'm going to move my weigh in to every other week and only record it when I do my measurements, body fat and muscle mass.
