Just to jump straight into it: I've lost 32 pounds. I went from a VERY tight 15 to a SUPER loose 13 in jeans. I definitely dont fit my thirteens anymore, even with a belt. I've gone and tried on 12s and 11s, and those fit everywhere EXCEPT my lower abdomen (darn you belly fat!!!) :explode: They give me pretty bad muffin top, and because my hips are smaller now, the love handles stick out way more. :grumble:
Should I go ahead and buy more jeans? I can't wear skirts and dreasses all the time. I'm always on the go, and they're simply not practical for me.
What did you guys do in this predicament? :flowerforyou:

WAIT and please dont wear clothes that give you a muffin top it looks soooo bad!
try and get rid of it a little more every .5 of a inch will help! trust me...
you dont want to look really bad just because of a stupid pair of jeans! when you have done all this hard work, wait and show it off in one go!0 -
It's always time to shop! :P If you want to buy new jeans, only buy a couple pairs. Since you're still in weight loss mode, I wouldn't spend alot of money on them. You might want to find a Marshall's or TJ Maxx near you to get some new jeans pretty cheap.0

I kind of have the same problem. Most of my 16's fit, there are 2 that are still too tight=give me the dreaded muffin top. Have you tried different brands?! All brands fit me completely different. I quit wearing 18's about a month ago, they are too big. But I still have a pair of 18's from Old Navy that are SO TIGHT! Certain cuts, I can't wear. I think its like the super low cut.0

go get more jeans! if you keep on wearing the loose ones, you can gain weight and not tell as easily. its like wearing sweat pants, go buy 1 pair of nice looking jeans. make sure they fit, but are snugg, and not falling off. then every 10lbs or so, buy a new cheap pair of pants, until your at your goal weight. i always go to walmart, they have jeans for like 8 dollars! then buy the expensive ones. this is what i do, and it motivates me! i cannot wait to get into the smaller sizes every time i go shopping!
good luck!

Most definately! Try clearance, yard sales, salvation army. I am really cheap though lol!:)0 -
Look for pants with a little stretch in them. They will be snug through your legs and hips but prevent a little muffin top.
Honestly though, I would wait. Who wants to spend a bunch of money on temporary clothes?0 -

try a different cut in jean. Jeans run so different! Maybe try a 12 in another brand?0

My first stop would be salvation army or goodwill for the 'in between' stages. Once you get to where you want to be, then spend the money on quality stuff that will last you a while. For now, go for second hand...It works great for me!0

Take you're old ones in to a tailor.. thats what I do because I'm also between sizes. Make sure that where ever you take them, they are will cut the pants open and then sew them back together. Most places charge about 16 dollars for this.. which is cheaper then buying new pants!0

Try buying custom fit jeans. Civali makes a pretty good pair. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sammiller/custom-fit-jeans0
