30 DS - Water Retention

Hello 30DS'ers!

I have recently started the program (I am on day 2) and am wondering how long you noticed water retention for? I weighed in at 178 lbs before the shred and I am up to 180.2 lbs now. I know that your body holds on to water when you strength train (it usually sits in your muscles where they have teared), I am just hoping that I don't retain water for the full 30 days...

What have your experiences been?

    Drinking more water will help, normally it sits there for a few days until you start getting used to it.

    I didn't notice any. I drink at least 80 oz of water a day. I notice I sweat a lot more than usual though!

    Hmm... I drink about 8 cups a day. Hopefully in a couple more days (I weigh in Wednesday... I'd love for it to be by then), my body will get used to the new routine.
