So I've reached my goal weight and I wasn't sure whether to keep on the 'lose weight' cal allowence (only quite low at 1/2lb weight loss per week) or to go onto 'maintain', as I'm worried that I'll put weight on?!

Any insights or advice out there?

Thanks in advance!

Um. It shouldn't be that much different. 200-300 calories. Unless ou want to continue to lose, you must eat more.

Try it for a month. Adjust as necessary.

I would manually change my calories up by 50 every 5 -7 days until you are at maintenance calories or you may see a temporary but discouraging gain. If you understand that a slight gain is normal and temporary and won't be discouraged then go straight to maintenance
