there was once a time, myabe 13 years ago, when i was in active duty and ran six miles daily. and i mainted at 130-140. now 13 years later, i'm at 179lbs and have been trying to get to the 160's. i'm in the National Guard and it's embarassing walking down the halls knowing i'm the chunky girl in uniform. i've been married for 15 months so i'm still in the newlywed stage. i need help and motivation, not only for myself (health) but also to keep my job, i can't be overweight. Anyone from the Austin Area, please let me know...i could really use a workout partner.

It happens to the best of us! And in your case, the best of the best! I'm newlywed as well (even though we got married two years ago ) I gained 30lbs when we got hitched. I'm working on my weight loss too.
Keep trying. Keep pushing yourself. You know you can do it. You are in the army, national guard! If you can do that, you can do anything!
It takes time. Remember, it took you a while to put on those pounds, it'll take a while to get them off as well.0 -
