1. We all know MFP is the #1 must have on your android phone, but what else?

2. I also installed the free version of both "Out of milk " and "My pantry". These are help you keep track what you have at home in your pantry, and what you need to buy. I am quite absent minded, also often do groceries with my toddler and I forget half of what I need to buy. The later has store coupon keeper, and expiry date reminder. Eating healthy is expensive, so using up things before they expire is important to cut down waste. I am just trying these 2 out, but have't decided which one to go with, they both seems decent. I am also open to other suggestions.

3.I just installed "Dirty dozen", is is a great free app that based on the most current official 2011 dirty dozen , and clean 15 list. ( produce with most, and least pesticide residue on them). I prefer to buy organic produce, but can't afford to buy everything organic. This helps me decide in the grocery store where should I put my $$$ to reach the most reduction from pesticide.

I am on a hunt for 2 more apps:

4. i need a good fruit glycemic index or sugar content list. I know after a while people know this by heart, but i am not there yet, so I want a good guide with me all the time, to help me pick the lower sugar fruits. I saw a few apps for this, but none of them was free. Although I do not mind to pay for an app, but first I want to try before I buy. Any suggestions?

5. fast food / eating out guide. I am just back from vacation, and we ate out every day. I really could/ should have used a guide that help me better selection in fast food and other restaurant. I find quite a few apps in this category, but they are based on the US, and I am a canuck. We do not have many food chains that Us have, but we have others that do not exist the south of the border. If you know a good one, let me know!

fooducate finally came out for android (previously iphone only). scan an item's barcode at the grocery. it gives you a grade rating for nutrition and suggests alternatives with better grades.
