So here's my new goal...

I'm supposed to be moving to California within the next couple of months. My boyfriend is an avid runner and I would love to be able to run next to him. Therefore, I will be starting the C25K this week.

As a test, Disney is having a Tinkerbell 1/2 marathon in January and I want to be able to do it.

Hhmm, 13.1 miles in 6 months; think it can be done? Let's hope so, cause I don't go lightly with my goals anymore!

I did it! It is totally possible! You can totally do it. Just dont overwhelm yourself and take it one day at a time!! Good luck!

There is no greater feeling in the world than crossing the finish line at a half-marathon, especially if it's your first one. I still get this ridiculous grin on my face every time I think about mine. I know you can reach this goal that you've set for yourself. In the end, crossing that finish line will seem more like a symbol of progress and accomplishment than anything else. Have fun training!

Wow whats great!!!! Good for you. I will be starting the same thing at the end of August. I have a lot of weight to lose, so I want to try and get some more weight off before I start running and kill my knees. My goal is a race in NOV. It is only a 5k, but...it is a start. I think a half maraton in 6 mo is definatly do-able. Set your mind to it and you can do it!

One of my friends on here is doing the Tinkerbell half marathon also. Her username is lisamarie1226. She is very motivating and I'm sure she would have some advice for you.

Good luck, let me know if I can help

Thank you all so much...it's scary to think that I will be able to accomplish this since I have never even been able to run ONE MILE. But, I've seen myself reach for and obtain so many of my goals in the last 7 months, I'm sure I can do this one too.

If any of you would like to add me as a friend, and help me (greatly appreciated), I welcome the requests.
