Spin-off: What Do You Burn Doing the 30DS?

For those with HRM's, what do you usually burn when doing the shred? Please include height, weight and fitness level!

I have only just started (day 3 today) and find that it royally kicks my tush. In 25 minutes it says that I am burning around 320 calories. This is my first intense form of exercise in a while. I am 5'9" and 180 lbs.

    I'm 5'8 and 150, and for level 1 my hrm says 240 calories, give or take a few each time. It's a good workout, a bit boring, but I usually run and this adds some nice weight work with it.

    Huh... I wonder if my heart rate monitor is wrong... I know that I am super out of shape...

    Hey I am 5'1" and 137lbs n I got 80 I hate my hrm! Lol!!! Or rather it hates me !
  • I'm somewhere between 5'5" and 5'6", 148 lbs and my HRM generally said I burned around 200-220 calories from Level 1. It burned more around 240 for Level 2, and strangely enough it's only been around 180 for Level 3 (might be because some of the moves on the ground mess with the chest strap's sensor - often times I look down during those moves and my HRM says my rate is 0!)

    Before the shred, all I did was walk or do short walk/jog intervals so needless to say the work out REALLY kicked my butt :laugh:

    Huh... I wonder why mine is so high... that kind of worries me.
