Cathy. I am sorry you had a tough night - keep your head up! You should be proud of yourself and all you have done! Don't let anyone bring you down. Thank you for the FB birthday wishes :flowerforyou:
Lula. Nice workout! Kick TOM's A**
So last night my best friend came over to celebrate my birthday... we have a weekly girls night anyways... but i hadn't seen her since the bachlorette party... and she noticed I had lost weight!!! best b-day gift... I can't wait to get on the scale tuesday.... 160's here I come... !!!
Going to try and eat well today, but I think the BF is taking me out to dinner tonight... so there will be drinks and lots of yummmy yummmy food! I am going to do the elliptical, take the pups for a walk and do 6W6P after work so I wont feel too guilty! :drinker:0 -

Good morning Sixers!
I have today off work. I am heading to the coast with one of my kids, my dog and my good friend & her daughter. I was good this morning and got up at 5am:noway: and went to the gym to do W1D3 of C25K. It got easier everyday. We will see what week 2 brings. I have never made it past week 1. I am not paying attention to the scale right now. It is not my friend and I dont want it to de-motivate me. Good thing is there is no scale at the beach house so I have a 2 day break from it.
Cathy- way to go on getting to the gym and getting out some anger via calorie burn! Your a strong woman, this too shall pass!
Emily- Happy Birthday! Enjoy your birthday dinner with your bestie!
Everyone else, have a good day! :flowerforyou:0 -
Morning (or I guess by now afternoon) ladies! I hope that everyone is having a great Friday. My week has been a challenge. I've been doing pretty well with eating (no more than 100 calories over on any day), but my weight is going up. I know I shouldn't weight everyday but I do. I hope it comes back down by Tuesday.
Found out from the doctor that my foot problem is probably Morton's Neuroma. Unfortunately that means there is not much I can do other than getting footpads and inserts for my shoes and hoping that they help. It's still really sore, so working out has just been super difficult. Hopefully I get some relief once the internet order of supplies arrives!
Hope you all stay on track today and through the weekend. I know I will need lots of willpower!0 -
crappy day. still in a bad mood. i am undecided if i want to go to zumba tonight.0
-
i went to zumba tonight. two big workouts today. now time for a shower and jammies and tv0
-
Cathy - I am so proud of you for going to Zumba and getting in two workouts, and for taking care of YOURSELF while you are under a great deal of stress. (BIG HUGS). Hopefully things will calm down for you, mentally, even if not in reality.
AFM - Had 3 workouts yesterday just because I needed to keep busy. One Zumba in the morning, another dance class in the evening. and then aerobics. Even with burning almost 1500 calories, do you know I STILL went over on my calories for the day? 3000 calories :noway: Still crampy but no TOM. I can't keep using it as an excuse for overeating, so I resolve to do better today (i hope, i hope, i hope).
I wish everyone a good, safe, and active weekend. See you all on week #3.0 -
morning...
well, DH is working today. they all got in trouble cause they still have 300 termite bait stations to inspect by the end of month. DH has only 10 left. there was a big turn over in services and who did what. so this is the first month of it, and it suc%s. pay went way down, cause he lost a route and hardly any pest control. now this. nothing i can do about it. i am just thankful he has a job. now son really has to get out. he costs me too much money.
i am sore this morning from those weighted workouts.
time to pay bills and go on with my day.0 -

I second this! Cathy you're being such an inspiration, even if you don't feel like it right now! I'm so proud of you for getting out and doing the Zumba when you weren't sure. Yay Cathy!
Hopefully everything is starting to look up for you. :flowerforyou:0 -
morning....
still in pissy mood. not eating well, but, sure getting in the exercising...now if i could get them to meet and start dating i would be a happy matchmaker.....
off to the lake today. hoping to have a good time. DH really didn't want to go, talked him into it. he's on vacation this week. so far the week is filling up. i told him if he's going to tag along he better buckle down and get ready.

Hey Sixers!
Cathy I hope you had a great day at the lake! :flowerforyou:
Amy - Keep it up! You are kicking some a** this challenge! Stick with it. (my scale has been broken so I haven't weighed in for about 2 week... I am actually looking forward to tuesday...)
Lula... Nice job with the workouts... just think if you didn't do them and ate 3000 calories ... don't feel guilty, just push forward and keep it up at the gym!
Friday night / Saturday I went over in calories (but I did exercise and I ate WAY less than I would have in the past... it was more the blueberry beer that got me :drinker: ). Today the BF and I did lots of yard work... 3+ hours of moving rocks, grading the yard etc... I have no idea how many calories I burned... I just know it was a lot! I measured (2 weeks for me,,, and I lost about 3 inches around my waist :noway: CRAZY! I bet it has a lot to do with the water intake / sodium considering I don't feel like a puff ball anymore  ... I am so happy, this is the first time in a long time I feel like I am moving forward in a healthy way (life style changes... instead of up and down eating). I am really looking forward to tuesday!!!! LETS DO THIS!!!0 -
Umm, blueberry beer is yummy!!!!! I had it over the 4th of July weekend for the first time.
So, this weekends food choices sucked *kitten* but I had a fun weekend. I am sun burnt but happy. The kiddos had fun. The adults had fun.
There will be no gym tonight and at this point I have no motivation to even go there. I should force myself as I know that I will be happy I did. We shall see.
Here's to a good week everyone!:drinker:0 -
Kind of cool that August starts on a Monday, so I'm using it to seriously reset myself. New week in our challenge, new week in general, new month. Let's make August our sexiest summer month yet.0

morning...
had a pretty good time at the lake. it was nice for a change. i let down my wall of anger. some times it would creap up. i need to get over it and move on. which i will do today. along with lula it's a new month, new week. and it's monday. i wasn't going to weigh in tomorrow, but, i have to be honest with myself and do it. i know it's up a couple + pounds. ate all day yesterday. i too amy am sun burnt. so is DH and shanell.
DH is on vacation this week. so far today is full, tomorrow is full. than the rest of week is play by ear. no money to do any thing great. we have planned one lunch date.
well off to finish my morning routine and get going. roofers are suppose to be here today. don't know if it's to fix it, or just look and see where it's leaking.

hi everyone!!!
I am back from my holiday and it was lovely! i tried to keep logging over the week but signal was awful and it was just too difficult in the end.
Anyway, weighing in tomorrow and i've allowed myself a 3lb gain but won't be gutted if its 4lb. I have a wedding to go to on saturday so am Juice Detoxing for three days this week to lose what i've gained (if i have... and i will have!) and to flush out all the ice cream and cider and pasties and other lovely things i ate all week!!!
at work now so only a quick message. Will read all the thread tonight and catch up on all your news

Hi ladies! Sounds like a few of us need to get back on track. I think I like the idea of using August 1st as a new start. I have 48 days until SIL-to-be's wedding, so I really need to step things up. I also just got invited to the beach this weekend with my brother and his GF. Should be a fun time, but not excited about being in a bathing suit around her. She is teeny tiny (mostly due to medical problems), but I will look like a beached whale next to her!
Took a really long walk for me yesterday. This morning I couldn't walk. Stupid foot neuroma. I don't know how I can lose weight without being able to do any exercising. The doctor told me to do everything normal in my life, but I guess exercise is not going to be normal to my life for a while. I'm bummed.
Here's to a great new start for all of us for the month of August!!!0 -
Kim, Do you have a pool near you? Swimming would be great for your foot and it is excellent exercise! That along with some low impact videos and you should be golden! Keep it up!!!0
