I have been smoke free - nicotine free - since Oct 2010. I quit cold turkey!!!

Forgot to add - about three months after I quit, I coughed up crap. BUT I worked out doing cardio only - which helped. After three months and no more coughing - I could swin underwater 25 meters holding my breath.

I don't miss it, I never will and never light up again!

    Awesome I quit 6 years ago can't see myself as smoker any more

    i quit 12/07/2010 cold turkey used to smoke half a pack a day. once i quit i stopped getting so sick. i dont even miss it

    Congrats! I've been smoke free since February 2011 using a 9-week program of Chantix. It was harder the second time around, but it took this time!

    I've never been a smoker, but that's awesome! Keep it up, it's a really great accomplishment. :)
