Hello everyone,
Im Jenny, im 37 years old i am married and have two children. Kyle is 19 and Autum is 16. I have been overweight all my life. i have lost a max of 60 pounds over the course of two years and in less than a year i have put almost all of it back on. I live a very hectic and stressful life and i find it so incedibly difficult to lose and maintain any weight loss. I am a full time hairdresser, a part time cashier and a cheerleading coach for a junior high. I work on average 60-70 hours a week. The salon is my main job, ive been doing it for 19 years. I recently took a cashier job to pay for my daughter to go to France next year as an exchange student. And coaching ive done for 3 years, it was something i just enjoyed.
My son has gotten himself into alot of leagal trouble, which of course has bees stressful to our whole family. He is involved with drugs and was recently sentenced to 30 days in jail and 30 months probation. I know that i have raised him with all the information possible to avoid all of this, however no matter how much information i gave him he rebelled.
My daughter on the other hand is a junior in high school. Won a beauty pageant last June and is headed for the national competition in December. She has decided to join the Army Reserves in October and is an amazing young women. She is also headed to France next June as an exchange student and has a bright future ahead of her.
Both my children are very smart, caring, funny, kind people and reguardless of their choices i love them and want to be here for a long time. In a couple years it will be just me and my husband and i want to be healthy so i can enjoy a long life with him. I really want to make changes and im tired of making excuses, so im here today trying to come up with a plan. I leave on saturday for a 4 day cheer camp and when i get back i want to have a plan ready to put in motion. First step is 30 mins of walking 3 times a week and staying within my calories.
Most likely this is more info than anyone needs but it truly gives a small glimpse into my life, i would appreciate any and all advice anyone has to give. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I say first and foremost take care of you. You do matter, you do need to be healthy and strong in order to handle whatever situation comes your way. (or at least try!) I don't know what to tell you about your kids because like you, I'm sure I am raising mine with the best intentions, values and love but they will do what they will do.0
