Good morning everyone!
Did you have a good weekend? Mine got better after our "guest" left. Ha ha.
We ate out twice this weekend, completely blowing my "diet". What did I learn? Normal food tastes SOOO good! Also my DH noticed that I was more grouchy and tired this weekend. I noticed that too. I was blaming it on the fact that I still don't feel well, but it's probably from the food. I am going to try to get off wheat again this week and stay off sweets. I've been really tempted the last couple of days though. I think I have finally realized I'd rather be more energetic than to eat my favorite foods all the time.
Goals for the day:
clean house,
try to get a work out in (finally!)
drink all my water
eat healthy
I think I may take the day off from push ups. Alex wanted to be carried everywhere this weekend, so my back is sore. I'll see how I'm doing after I get moving.
I hope you all have a good day!
MM

Good morning everyone! I have to say I am thrilled to be at work today! My daughter drove me nuts all weekend with screaming and crying and not eating! She's got months before she hits 2, but it's terrible already :noway:
Work is going to be extremely busy this week and we've got tomorrow off for the holiday, so I don't think I'll see much of the gym. I'm glad I have 30-day Shred--that'll keep me going this week!
Today's goals:
Water (already 3 glasses down!)
Level 1 Day 10 of shredding tonight (will start level 2 tomorrow!)
Most importantly, relax and not be so stressed out with my sweetpea! She is just acting like a normal toddler0 -
Good morning!

I asked my husband last night which food he feels the best after eating - he said "Mary pasta with a salad" - awwww (it's ww pasta with olive oil, olives, capers, garlic, onions, tomatoes, and feta). I'm trying to figure out which foods I feel really good after eating. So far, homemade vegetable or bean based soup is high on the list.
Yesterday I did yoga, biked, and walked as well as the push ups. I had to do the last set on my hands (as opposed to fists) to make it through, but I did do two extra. I did all of yoga with flat hands as well, so maybe this stupid wrist is getting better.
Today is really up to my dentist. I lost a filling yesterday, and I'm waiting to hear when they can get me in. I hope to do yoga, biking, and maybe gym.0 -
Today I took a day off, as I'm dealing with some muscle soreness and haven't taken a day off in a bit.
Still did water, vits and pretty good eating. (split a gingerbread cookie with my husband).
I almost always feel good after vegetables. Also, meat with vegetables and a whole grain does me good. I noticed after eating cereal for lunch yesterday that milk doesn't make me feel that good. Same with too much cheese. (I keep trying to convince myself that cheese is a seasoning and not a staple)
Mary pasta sounds pretty yummy, too. :flowerforyou:0 -
Mary pasta = yum! I make the exact same dish, except without the olives because my husband doesn't like them. But I do.
Class today was okay, and it turns out they're catering lunch everyday - with a veggie option for me! So far, so good - today it was a big salad with some roasted vegetables. I let myself have a piece of pound cake because I didn't think the salad had hardly any calories, and I didn't have too much at the hotel breakfast either. It seemed way too sweet, though. But then I went to Whole Foods and let myself get a box of mini oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! In retrospect, that may not have been the smartest idea - I've had 3. So now it is time for pushups, and then off to the hotel gym to make up for it! And then project work when I get back to my room.
Take care, everyone! :flowerforyou:0
