This my seem a bit obvious, but I'm going to my first ever pilates class on Wednesday evening, and have no idea what I shoudl wear or take with me - other than water and a towel!
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm gonig to play badminton on Friday with my youngest son, am I right in thinking that I just have to wear loose, comfortable clothing?

Thanks for reading :flowerforyou:

Do you have any workout pants? Whenever I go to pilates or yoga I just wear comfy workout pants and a workout top. Good for you!

Do they provide mats? If not, you will need a mat. Have fun!! :flowerforyou:

Also, whenever I do the downward facing dog position, my t-shirt always falls into my face, so if your top is kinda stretchy and clings to you, that is a good thing!

Thanks guys, I believe the gym does provide mats - but I will find out, I have a few pairs of comfy pants and a couple of kinda stretchy tops - so I'm about sorted
    Thanks guys :flowerforyou:

Yes, wear fitted clothing that allows for a full range of motion.
A mat is needed (so if the gym doesn't provide them, which they should, you'd want one).
A towel (particularly if you use a gym mat you will want a towel to put under your face for any prone positions)
A positive attitude! :) Pilates is hard at first, but don't get frustrated, instead let it drive you to improve :) Pilates is great, I love it!
