Good morning everyone!!! Since I'm on vacation this week i have some extra time for MFP. I hope everyone is starting their day on a positive note...Soooo I want to give you some food ( no pun intended ) for thought...

What brought you to MFP??? For some its been sometime since you joined and you may not be as motivated as you first were...Reflect on the feeling you had when you first discovered this site...

What expectations do you have for yourself??? Have you set them too high? Or not high enough??
Challenge yourself to break those old habits...think b-4 you eat after all where did those old habits land ya huh??

Most of all, have you hugged yourself today??? Or are you going to the mirror and beating up on the reflection you see...or are you avoiding the mirror all together because you just cant face that person??? If thats the case...let me tell you something...That person in the mirror is the number one fan of yours...will always be there for you, and will appreciate you giving some love to yourself.

So that should keep you busy today and away from the fridge....LOL! Take time to STOP...Reflect and remember why you started your journey in the first place.. That way when the temptation bug tries to bite...You'll EXTERMINATE him!!!! I challenge everyone to drink nothing but water today ..at least 4 glasses.....here's to you ( lifting my glass...cheers)

Hmmmm... I am here because I realized that my weight was on an upward trajectory. The causes were overeating. The scary thing was that if I don't write down how much I eat or weigh myself, I have no idea what is going on. I gain and lose weight in my butt, so there can be a whole world back there and I wouldn't really notice unless my clothes got too tight.
I realized the best way to take control of my health was to actually understand what, when, how, and why I eat.

    Good post.
