Tuesday Mini Challenge

Good Morning Everyone!!! Charger440 usually posts these; but I am not sure where he is today. So I thought I would start us all off!!! Everyone is welcome!!!

Today's challenge is: Windshield Washer

Let's see if we can do 75 of them.
These are tough so lets take it easy and see what we can do.
This is a lower abdominal/oblique workout.
Post back on how many you do so I can set the goal more appropriatly next time we do these. If you can do more than 75 please do them this time and let me know.
Also, each side is considered one for counting purposes.


You have until midnight to get them done.
You can do them all at once or break them into smaller groups.
If you can't do them all then do what you can. The important thing is that you try to do them.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.
You can log these challenges as "Calisthenics" I hear.

    Thank you. I had been looking for his post. I was going to substitute squats, but this is even better because it is a group effort.

  • I felt the difference in my mid-section last week, and it took me awhile to 'get' what I was doing - will try to do more today.

    WTH? I thought I did post a Tuesday mini challenge....Humm....Sorry folks I was busy last night and it must have slipped my mind. The sad part is, I already did what I thought I posted. Since Crystal was nice enough to fill in I'll do hers as well.

    I just completed them. I said to hell with waiting until I get home so I shut my office door, pushed my desk back and did them on the floor of my office.

    I did them in three sets and I did a total of 76 (I wanted to do an even number so that the number on the left and right sides would be equal). The first set was 25 staring on the right, the second set was 25 starting on the left, and the third set was 26 starting on the right. The break in between each set was 10 seconds. These were definitely harder to do on a hard floor lol

    Holy crap those look hard!! And my abs are already sore from circuit training yesterday. But I'll get em done! No whining, no excuses!! :)

    1,1,2,2,3,3,....20,20 ( I am feeling the burn), 21,21,.....40,40, (I go to the bent knee method)..., 61,61(back to straight legs, I wish I didn't creep forward as I did them - the wall is hard)...75,75 DONE I go back to post and reread the directions. YUCH! I did twice as many as challenged. Oh well, no harm (except sore abs); no foul.

    I got mine done. I did 101 of them.

    Until you said that, I didn't realize each side was counted as one. LOL! I thought one set was going to each side once. That's why it seemed so hard. Ah well, 150 isn't so bad...:laugh:

    Yeah, I failed! I have such weak abs...and I know that it would have helped but I just couldn't get it done. I will continue to add those into my routine though...I will dust it next time!!! (I only did maybe 5 :sad: )
