I checked google too - first result returned. Don't think I'd use that one anymore :)

Majority of people think of ED as erectile dysfunction anyway...
but to the ED-community it means eating disorder! :)

Are you getting help with your eating disorder? I hope so. That's the first step, is focusing on treatment. And yes, I'd be friends with you, no problem. If you can stand being friends with a fat girl!

We're all here dealing with our food demons. That's the point of the MFP support network.

Oh pet, we all have "issues". There is nothing to feel ashamed of. You keep on trying until something works for you. There is no shame in being in hospital. It's hard work to overcome these things, if it wasn't, we'd all be normal healthy weight people who were happy around food. You deserve to be healthy and well! These are positive steps you are taking for a healthy future.

If we can't laugh at life, what's the point? All of us in the USA are bombarded with ED treatment ads. I think we all thought it!

LOLOL!!! Yes, you might want to change your abbreviation! Maybe to EDO or something like that (Eating DisOrder)

I don't have an eating disorder (at least not diagnosed) but I will gladly be friends with anyone who does anyway  We all have our struggles!

Feel free to add me - I've been in remission (if you want to call it that) for several years, and I'm happy to support anyone who's trying to be healthier :)

Add me if you wish. Former ana/mia...I can't call myself recovered. You never 'recover', you improve and learn to live again. I only struggle with it several times a year now and I usually kick myself in the butt and remember how bad it used to be and that it's not worth it. Keep up the great work. MFP has a large community of people that suffer with EDs.
