I got rear-ended tonight. My neck hurts. Yes I filed a police report and yes I am planning on going into my doc tomorrow. Any idea what to do in the mean-time? I took advil.

(Its only stiff and sore I'm not paying 75 bucks to go to the ER tonight...)

I'm really super worried this will throw off my working out. :frown: I had fallen off the wagon (not gained but not lost) for like two weeks now and I was just getting back into it... I supposed I can still recumbant-bike if I need to.

How do I protect my neck from further hurt?

    TAKE IT EASY!

    also ice packs (10 mins on 30 mins off) helps

    advil, ice and rest. Cant do much for it.

    Taking it easy is very important. Don't work out for a few days if it still hurts. Neck injuries are nothing to mess with. I would think you should see a doctor if it is not significantly better in 3 days after Advil and rest.
