Polenta question?

i bought some bob's red mill polenta to try...just wondering how much water you would add to 1/4 cup of polenta?? anyone know?
there are directions on the box but i just dont want to make a whole cup just for myself if i dont have to

instructions should be on the box but I think it's 1 to 1 ratio. So 1/4 to 1/40

The standard ratio of polenta to liquid is three parts liquid to one part polenta.0

if you want to use 1/4 of a cup of polenta, and the directions are for a whole cup, then just take the water for the one cup directions and divide it by four. Thats what I have to do for rice recipes sometimes.0

thanks everyone. i just had some with a 1/2 tablespoon of low sodium smart balance, a drop of maple syrup, a 1/2 tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of slivered toasted almonds. yummy!0
