I actually did it for 90 days. The diet is difficult...too much cooking with strange ingredients. The workout is great!! Pretty intense and I saw great results.0

I haven't even heard of it....Where can i find more info on it?0

Yeah, some of the food is iffy - but I just modify using the calorie guide...
Glad you had success!

It's one of her two books... I forget the first one, it's for people with 20+ pounds to lose, and this is for people with the last 10 lbs (20 lbs max) to lose, it's supposed to get you "cut"....
Check out the book at Borders, Amazon, etc - join me if you want to support each other!

I bought it. I am reading it, but I am not sure I can realistically stick to it right now. I am doing her 30 shred dvd a few times a week and it kills me! I think if you have the motivation to do the making the cut plan, you'll see great results0

I am a huge fan of the Shred! Been doing that for a few months now - love it.

Guys, for an amazing workout that definetly gives results, try P90X. Comes with a diet plan and exercises. Been doing it a month now and my eating hasn't gone that great, but I definetly am more toned and stronger.:smokin:0

I totally agree with hotmom! I have been doing P90X since August 2007. Within 6 months I went from a size 14 to a size 5. I am still going strong but incorporated more intense workouts into the X with P90X+ and 1 on 1 workouts. The program lays out what you do every day. You get 12 dvds and an eating program. I still see results over a year later. I have muscles in my arms, back, chest and ripped abs. It is definitely worth the money.

You look AMAZING!!!! Good work! I have the P90X DVD's - I just found them boring, but I could certainly try them again. I feel I'm in decent shape, so the motivation is not too strong to spend time doing something I don't really like! But it's worth a shot again!
Hot mom - you're looking terrific too!

I thought about the P90X but decided against it for a few reasons...1) I hate working out at home! 2) I teach classes at a gym so it is hard for me to fit in such a structured program 3) It is so expensive! Let me know if you think it is really worth it and if I might be able to incorporate some of the things in my classes.0

I personally don't love the P90X DVD's - I find them boring - even with my own iPod for music.
That's GREAT that you teach classes! You get paid to do your workouts! I had a cousin who used to do that for a major gym - she was a high level exec by day, but taught the early morning classes, and the pay covered her workout gear, and got her to workout regularly.

I have the book, and follow the 30 day workout to a "t", but follow my own diet.
I did this first in May to get "cut" for a wedding and looked great (if I do say so myself)
It's an awesome workout, don't skip it just because you won't do the diet plan, it's really intense stuff, and not boring! I think one of the reasons I was able to run 2 marathons 6 days apart, with no soreness or stiffness is because of this great workout, it has lots of core stuff and plyometrics, definitely try it!0 -
That is exactly why I do it too! I am a speech therapist by day and a fitness instructor by night...0

I'm 2 days in again also! Did you start yesterday? I'm doing the workout with my neighbor, our families are going to Mexico together in 4 weeks and we wanted to look fabulous in our bikinis
Keep checking in with how your doing, and if you can see and feel the difference.0 -

Hey Angie Bangie!!!
I did the Shred before going on vacation (see profile pic - I don't think I did too badly in the end)! I did start this on Monday with my friend, and our deal is that if we can do it between now and Christmas, we are going to the Bahamas!
Have a GREAT time in Mexico!!! And do keep in touch and let me know how you are doing.
