Hiya,

Basically i still live at home with my mum and her partner and they are in charge of the shopping, since im out of work at the moment. Im finding it difficult to make healthy meals when i dont have much control over what goes in the the shopping trolley. My mums pretty good and buys the normal fruits and veggies (not a lot however) and tries to make sure she picks up a few healthier bits and pieces for me but im finding it difficult to come up with something everyday.

Its only me who's eating more healthily in the house so normally im surrounded by pizza's, chips and the like so im struggling to balance my meals out properly. Also i guess its worth a mention that my mum doesnt work, shes registered disabled so the income in the house isnt that high.

I guess what im asking is does anyone have any cheap, easy recipes or foods that i can add to the shopping list? Ive chnaged some things such as now eating wholemeal bread and more salads. IM going to ask to change the pasta to wholemeal and maybe get brown rice instead of white! Is there anything else i can change without shocking my mums shopping system??

Thanx in advance!
Jess x
