I had to have a small in office surgery and the doctor put me on light duty and no excercise for the next two weeks or so. I can do light excercise he said. What can I do besides walk that doesn't include bending or lifting it was on my midsection.

Punches. Great for getting your heart rate up. Just sit and punch. You can even do them with weights for a little more! Ü0

What about sitting in a chair & lifting your legs? And lateral arm raises (lifting arms out from the side)??0

I agree! On a Jillian Michael's video she said that punches is great cardio for lower body injuries. She has you squat down a little bit and just punch.... there is a slight torso movement though, so take it easy how you are punching if you aren't supposed to be moving the midsection much.0
