Even on a sick day I receive work stress

So, as I mentioned earlier I took two dives on my birthday and had "birthday IVs" instead of cake.
I decided to call in sick today because I still felt weak and didn't think I could handle a Monday. My supervisor who was to fill in for me decided to take half the day off "again". He called tonight and sent me on a guilt trip about how the gal at the hospital's medical records front desk told him that he should hire someone else since we are always gone. GREAT! I can't even get a break. Now I can't sleep... I'm all stressed out about what he said and handling the work backed up from me being gone all while not feeling well and severely stressed. I don't think exercising to relieve the stress is best for my dehydration at this point... I still need to hydrate; and I don't think it would help. I want to eat but I know afterwards I would just feel worse (even though i have enough calories left). I just wish I had either a stress-free job or knew how to not let it get to me. I think part of my problem is not just dehydration but exhaustion. I feel so overwhelmed! How can I be successful at this weight loss journey in this state?

I really know how you feel about being stressed out on the job. You wouldn't think working for walmart you would get stressed out alot but you do. I have been in the retail buisness for over 35 yrs. and I had learned along time ago that when I walk through those doors at work I leave my home problems behind and I am there to work for walmart and the customers. When I walk through those doors to leave work I leave work at work. I have a saying and everyone knows it be it at work or outside of work if I am off of the clock (even if I call in sick or something) that is exactly what I will talk to you about and nothing else. They know that trying to play a guilt trip on me for missing a day of work will not ever work with me. I have even told my boss that give me a honest day's pay and I will give you a honest day's work, but don't call me off of the clock to talk about work or I will hand in a time adjustment sheet, so I can get paid for it.
Dehydration is not good it makes you feel terrible, and not eatting can make it worse. I hope you feel better soon and don't let what your boss or other people say bother you to much. You are successful in your weight loss, look at what you have lost already!!!0 -

thats called bullying.
you have the right to take a day off, i dunno what is the law in your country but your allowed a certain amount. if you have an union, thats even better. you can report what he said to you. if he doesnt havent have the personel to fill out sick people, then he should hire someone else, or at least have a casual come in when needed. there has to be a plan b, c or even d... your superior is the one responsible for that, not you...
anyways .. its in his best interest to not talk to you like that,,, becuase you need to relax and take care of yourself today so you can be fit to return at work asap... now i would take a second day off .lol (of course make sure you can get a doctor's note... )
take care !!!0
