Best exercise DVDs?

I am starting Jillian Michael's 30 day shred next week but want to know some other great exercise DVD's people have had success with? We got an Amazon Gift card so thought I would save on shipping, haha

Any recommendations appreciated thanks

  • Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30, any of the biggest loser dvd's are pretty good too. I also love Leslie Sansone walking dvd's great for days when the weather is too hot or too cold to go out and walk... plus I sweat way more from them then regular walking.

    I love Cardioke..it's kind of goofy, but fun and a good workout. You sing while doing the cardio (the singing encourages the proper breathing). It's put out by Billy Blanks Jr. The Zumba videos are good, also any of the Biggest Loser ones...

    I discovered the Fitness section of Netflix and I love it lol I did 10 minute pilates on sunday and my abs STILL hurt today lol

    I love the Leslie Sansome DVD's. It is not just walking, it is a real good whole body workout and awesome for inside in the summer heat.

    Leslie Sansone walk DVD's, I love them. Don't be mislead by the word 'walk'...they are challenging! Especially the ones that are 3, 4 and 5 miles, it's a good work out!

    Zumba is the best thing I've ever tried. I really think it has changed my life by finally letting me enjoy exercise instead of looking at it like a necessary evil. It's so much fun that it's hardly even like a workout ... except for all the sweating and weight loss. :smile:

    anything by bob harper you will end up in a pool of sweat guaranteed and you will see results.

    Its under sports and fitness then go to workouts :)

    I love the Bob Harper DVD's. He helped me lose the pounds before I got here. His work outs are hardcore.

  • You log them based on an hour...so, if you do one mile in 15 minutes, then that would be 4 miles per hour (so you would do a 4 mile per hour brisk walk in 15 minutes).

    Basically, they will all be 4 miles per hour when dealing with Leslie...if I am wrong, someone please correct me because I would hate to be logging them wrong myself! LMBO

    insanity girl!!! I am just finishing and have lost nearly all of my baby weight (30 lbs) and feel fantastic!! Going to start P90X next. :-)
