How do the Biggest Loser contestants do it?

I have been thinking about this and I am wondering if any of you know how people on the biggest loser do it? If they work out several times a day for hours they must burn thousands of calories, do they eat it all back? It seems like they create huge calorie deficits to lose that much weight and it seems to go against the idea of eating back exercise calories.

Just a thought, any ideas are welcom.

    they have medical teams watching them so i imagine they can do things that we cant with calorie deficits plus they prob. eat 2000 calories a day but burn alot more than that and i think at some point eating back excercise calories doesnt matter like we need to cause we dont burn 3000-4000 calories a day... but basically they have medical help and trainers that we dont have
