I thought that my dating life would get better once I lost a lot of weight. Welp, I lost a lot of weight, I have a LOT more confidence, I consider myself attractive YET the boys are nowhere to be found!! Well, I actually went on a date this past weekend but that was the first time in forever!! It's actually really hard to meet people where I am in my life. I'm a 22 year old grad student in a field with all woman. Lots of my friends are getting engaged or married. BLAHHH

First off you look fabulous!
Secondly, since you are limited in male exposure you may have to find ways of putting yourself out there. Continue taking college courses (even just fun ones) if you have the time. Participate in religious things (If your religious). Classes at gyms. Basically, you have to make yourself available and put yourself out of your way more then most.
Also (I don't know you but this is something I noticed about others around where I live)..... make sure your new found confidence isn't over powering/intimidating you other characterisitics. I have known a lot of people who lost weight and ended up WAY obnoxious because they were OVERLY confident and overcompensated. Does that make sense?
Just take some time, you'll find your groove.0 -
Also your confidence could be scarying them away. Sometimes intimidating to guys.
But don't worry you'll find someone in time. Sometimes in order to get someone worth while waiting is what we have to do:flowerforyou:

Hey!! Yea, that makes perfect sense!! Honestly though...I don't know how confident i REALLY am. I am definitely more confident than before but I still definitely have insecurities. I don't know how I come across to others buut it is definitely something to think about. Thanks0

I always find myself coming of WAY more defensive then I really need to.
I borderline with hostile.
It's just something to think about.
Confidence will grow with sucesses.
Good luck.0
