I always seem to be short on the amount of carbohydrates I should be eating. My trainer tells me that I need to eat more complex carbohydrates. So tonight I had brown rice with my dinner but I am still considerably short of my daily goal for carbs. I've had some fruit and now I'm over my limit for dietary sugars. Can anyone recommend a good source of complex carbs that I could add to my diet?

If you are over your sugars because of fruit, it is nothing to worry about. The only time you should have a frowny face when you are over your sugars is when they come from a non-nutritional source.
