Here's a link to allrecipes that is close. The trick is to get all the air out of the balls as you roll them. Good luck!

I have the best recipe. :flowerforyou: I got it from a former nurse at our school. Thanks Wendy!!
1 c butter
2 c peanut butter (Jif preferred)
3 c powdered sugar
For the chocolate part: 1 bag of chocolate chips and 1/2 bar of wax.
TIP: After you roll the peanut butter balls, put them in the freezer for 20 min. It makes it easier to dip them in the chocolate (using a toothpick).0 -

Not everything we do in our lives revolves around ourselves or our diets.
She was just asking for a recipe, for whatever reason.

Ok- I have been making these for years (over 20) and this comes directly from the great state of Ohio. By no means is this low fat
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 cup peanut butter-creamy
6 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
Mix with hands and form small balls
next:
Melt over low heat (in a double boiler)
1 12 oz bag of chocolate chips or 6 hersey milk chocolate bars ( I prefer the candy bars)
1/2 parafin wax
After chocolate and wax is melted use toothpicks to dip the peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate. ( don't completely dip) . Put onto wax paper to dry. Keep cholocate on the stove while dipping to keep the chocolate melted.
I was given this recipe to remind me of where I grew up, and it's still on the same recipe card.
Hope you like......trust me they will not last long. ( at least the don't in my house)0 -
bump...for those of you interested0
